Hi, I’m Annie

This is a place where I share my observations about the often overlooked parts of our everyday lives which I think deserve greater attention and interrogation.

I focus on the things I see in business, culture, and the home.

For a lot of my adult life I have strived to be ‘nonchalant’, thinking it would make me cooler. You will learn from reading about 25 words of this publication that I failed. So, I named this publication ‘Chalant’ to honour my true self and hopefully make you giggle at least once in the process.

I am currently the Operations and Growth Manager at Nonna’s Grocer and previously founded Life Admin startup, Dara. I’ve also had roles in venture capital and law. My career has been non linear, having optimised for learning through doing. Experience across these fields have heavily impacted how I see the world and what I write about.
